Hello there 👋

I'm Carles Mitjans, a software engineer currently working at Skello.

I studied a BsC in Biology and an MsC in Statistics, but in some way or another ended up landing a job as a full stack software engineer. What started as a hobby early on has evolved into my current profession, and I'm both proud and thankful that it happened.

I have learned and used a lot of technologies both in professional and personal environments. From Frontend tools and Backend resources all the way to low-level system stuff like memory management in C. Currently, I'm most focused on the following:

Hobbies

Over the years I've developed a special interest in the following tech fields, and I like to come back to them from time to time:

Cybersecurity 👨🏻‍💻

Cybersecurity was one of my first discoveries in the tech world and was quickly interested in this topic. I've helped some companies secure their websites through Bug Bounty Programs like Intigriti and HackerOne

I also participate in Hackthebox from time to time, where I go by the name of hasp0t

iOS Development

I started playing with iOS development before Swift came along. I developed a couple of applications using Swift and SwiftUI, one of which made it to the App Store!
